Dancing Queen

I realized today I haven't taken any pics of my precious pookie since we have returned from Tampa... what's the deal?!?

So I made up for it and took some random shots today.  Our little girl has turned into a dancing queen... anytime she hears a beat of any sort she starts shaking her groove thing.  It's pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.  My favorite is when she dances with Ellen.  I am trying to catch it on video so I can send it to the show... maybe she will win us a a trip to Cali!

Appreciating: November!

AHHHH!  Prepping for a new baby and holidays make for one crazy combo in my world.  So here we are, February knocking on the door, and I am finally posting our November, December, and January.  Better late than never I suppose.  It's been a super busy three months, but we have celebrated Thanksgiving, a new niece, Christmas, and prepared for a new arrival by moving the girls into one room and getting his nursery ready to go. And now, November.. We have moved up in gymnastics... now both girls get to play while mama sits.  My kind of gymnastics class.   We traveled to Tampa for Thanksgiving this year.  No baking involved... When I started my blogging adventure I had hopes that when my daughter (now daughters) get old enough, they will have something to look back on to recall their childhoods.  So keeping with that idea, I am going to make more of an effort to document their days.  That is a big task I am adding to my belt as things are about to get crazy up in  here within the next month or two… more on that soon! ******************** Today Kaelyn got her first pedi from mommy.  I rarely get pedicures (not that I don't enjoy them… just can't seem to find the time), but did so not to long ago when my best gal pal Tara was in town and all us girls got together.  Well KK has been kinda obsessed with my toenails ever since.  And it just so happens the other night as I was stumbling in the dark back from the bathroom to bed I busted my toe into our full length mirror and ended up with a bloody mess… so mamma needed to fix the mess which was her toes.  Now my daughter is no...

Appreciating: May

May was full of end-of-season dance recitals, end-of-preschool excitedness, and travels here and there with us venturing out of town and family venturing in.  We brought May to a close with a little hometown staycation- full of beach adventures, hula dancing, BBQs, and mini-golf. Appreciating lately: A Tiny Dancer Here’s a bonus of my cutes before her recital.   We are taking a break from ballet over the summer and are trying something new- gymnastics.   Little sister will get to join in on the fun this go round. Our Backyard So not technically our backyard, but just a hop, skip, and jump down the street and here we are.   Braxton’s dream came true because we had two little girls finally take a ride on his surfboard.   He may have two surfer chicks after all- and we now have a new kids surfboard being delivered any day.
