A Peppa Pig Party

Image
This past weekend we celebrated the big three with so many friends and family.  Lana had a difficult time deciding on the theme of her party, but in the end Peppa Pig won out. Lana was so cute and excited for her big day and a great time was had by all.  We blew bubbles, punched balloons and a pinata, opened presents, ate lots of yummy Peppa themed snacks and sang happy birthday to the big girl.  This time we made sure no hair was harmed in the blowing out of candles (yes, he hair caught fire the night of her birthday- luckily it just gave her an extra layer in her pretty locks.) Minutes before the hair landed in the flame All she wanted was those wiggly worms Next year there will be four more at her party- all these mamas are pregnant! Love this little girl and can't wait to see what the next year has in store!

Happy Birthday to my always smiling, always jumping, always clumsy, sweet little three-year-old who will forever be my little pumpkin.  She loves all animals as well as fruit and spaghetti.  She is full of energy and won't sit still unless youtube kids is playing, then you can't get her attention unless you are offering dinner. She is so excited to become a big sister and help take care of her little brother and I know she will be just perfect for the job. She's sensitive, funny, and full of curiosity. Happy Birthday Lana!! A few pics from our Halloween...

I still can’t believe we dealt with Hurricane Matthew in the month of October.   It already seems like it was ages ago, though the yard debris still covering our front yard serves as a reminder it was not.   It was a really scary couple of days and we are so thankful other than a lot of fence and yard damage, our beachside community faired well.   Heeding the mandatory evacuation, we made a little vacation out of it and headed to Fort Myers for a long weekend.   This boat may not have survived the storm so well. Being home and back in the swing of things we toured our local volunteer firehouse and had a scare with the animals at...
