Christmas Snapshots

All signs of Christmas life have been packed snuggly away in their rightful red bin, hibernating until the next go round.  Our Christmas was merry and bright, with a few bah-humbugs in between.  Both girls were fighting fevers and Christmas proved to be a bit of a challenge for my oldest toddler… we had about eight meltdowns that day.  That being said, this was the first year Kaelyn had a grasp on the idea of Christmas and all it’s magic and I wouldn’t change a thing about our past week. The week started off with a picnic by the tree and Polar Express.   Kaelyn was pretty captivated by the movie and all other movies having to do with Christmas.   She was even into the Grinch, which I totally thought would scare the bejesus out of her, but not so much.   A girl after my own heart…   she has the love for a good horror flick at a ripe young age. Appreciating: December (and a bit of November)

December brings so many happy things.  Like... The Beach We enjoy the beach one day and find ourselves with the heater on the next.  This visit was in November… we have yet to brave swimsuits in December… but the weather is warming up so we may get there just yet. Gina Gina is Lana’s lovey.   Brax thinks I named her after Ziggy’s first dog walker... who was a little cra-cra, but this is false.   I just thought Gina the Giraffe had a nice ring to it.   There are times when Lana carries Gina around in her mouth… but I swear, no relation to the dog walker.   Besties Troublemaker This girl will find the one thing in the room that will make the biggest mess or that can cause her bodily harm and will make a beeline for it.  Favorite game… pull all the tupperware from the cabinet Mini Shopping Carts They please my little domestic diva so.   She is very insistent on putting the groceries in her basket and removing them when its time t
