1.  There are short lines at Starbucks super early in the AM 2.  You can do this before it's 110 degrees outside… Seriously?!?… someone stop feeding this kid. 3.  That's pretty much it friends.

A Girl After My Own Heart

I joined a local Mommy's group,  the girls are in some serious need of friends their own age… mommy can only play in the band for so long before it becomes uncool.  We've had a park playdate, a lunch playdate, a water park playdate, and went to a friend's house and it's only been two weeks.  I'm so grateful to be able to stay home with my littles but worry from time to time that they are missing out on the socialization aspect that comes with a daycare setting so hoping this will be a good substitute… so far, so good! Kaelyn loves to help in the kitchen and she loves to craft… which makes her mamma happy because I too love to craft it up so we make perfect crafting companions.  For our lunch playdate last week I found the cutest craft on Pinterest that I knew would be perfect for pookie and I to create.  As predicted, she enjoyed every part of it… the painting, the "baking", and the assembly.  Can't wait for Lana to get a bit more coordinated so s

The First Cut

We have a little pixie running around.  She's cute, sweet, hilarious, and best of all…. her hair is beyond adorable! If looks could kill... No trim for me, thanks! KK did great… though when she finished her first lollipop she decided she was done and tried her harde

This and That

The girls and I tore apart some storage bins the other day.  Baby clothes were taking over the garage.  It’s kinda out of control.   I’ve allowed myself one bin of keepsakes that I hope to do something fun with one day.   I’m leaning towards making a quilt of old baby clothes that have sentimental value… Halloween and Christmas outfits, the adorable jammies that both girls cozied into, coming home from the hospital outfits… you get the drift.   Kaleyn decided to call on her inner Cinderella and try on every pair of shoes we came across… all that no longer fit her.   I guess that would make her the evil stepsister instead of Cinderella?   No way Jose… not my sweet pea. Don't get rid of all my old clothes mom! We have been dealing with some serious sleep deprivation over here (and by we I mean myself and little miss Lana).  I don’t know what’s going on with that girl… well I kinda do.. she loves her family and would much rather be with them than sleeping.  She also
