Appreciating: February

There has been so much to appreciate this month.  In our typical fashion, we have kept entertained, from play dates to fire pits, there is never a dull moment.

My Picasso
Her people drawing skills are on point.  In this particular photo she took heed of everyone’s favorite color and proceeded to draw them in it.  This is a family photo of mommy, daddy, Grandma, Nonnie, Aunt Cassie, and Aunt Kelly.

The Cold
Taking advantage of the nip in the air, we broke out the marshmallows and got to roasting.  Although neither child was interested in a charred fluff.  They walked around eating chocolate and plain old marshmallows, so much to learn young grasshoppers.

The Birds
One of our favorite after dinner spots, we frequent the park to feed the crazy birds, turtles, and fish.

Birthday Countdown
This little girl may not make it to her big day.  Mommy is breaking out all the stops to make it as epic as she is anticipating.  Her favorite line these days- “Can I have this for my party” spoken in regards to every toy that comes into her path.  Daddies going to have to get a second job just to fund all her presents.

Manatees
We enjoy the rain and cold for many reasons such as blowing bubbles and snuggly reading time.  It also brings some local favorites to our canals where they cuddle and snuggle as well, trying to keep warm.

Uptown Funk
Home girl likes to get down in the mornings while waiting in the school car loop line.

Play Dates
Still can’t get enough of our two besties.  Luke and Kaelyn have always had the best of time together, but the past couple weeks Lana and Katelyn are discovering it’s more fun to get in trouble together versus solo.

Valentine’s Day
We had our second annual V-day breakfast and scavenger hunt.  Kaelyn also had a special party at school- she was sooooo excited to pass out her valentines and get some in return.

Kid could not find the 5th heart to save her life.

Take My Picture
We headed to the zoo on Valentine’s Day and Kaelyn posed on every bench we passed- “take my picture.”

I’m off to party plan.  Say a prayer.
