Pumpkin Patching Part Deux

I am going to keep this short and sweet as I hope to squeeze in a short nap before my little awakes.  Staying up until midnight last night has done a number to this woman who usually is in bed by 9:30.  Totally worth it though... the Seminoles are on fire and I for one couldn't be more excited!!

We headed out yesterday morning to a free Fall Festival in our area.  Not only was the festival free... but they were also giving away pumpkins.  How awesome is that?  After our not so wonderful experience last weekend, we were super stoked to leave with two perfect pumpkins!  We didn't even have to fight the crowds for them... though it was hard to get a picture taken without someone photo bombing!

Today we finished up getting ready for baby.  There is now a second car seat in our car... we will see how that goes over with KK.  She was NOT happy with the addition of a car seat to her stroller.  There were tears.  It wasn't pretty.

In our "school" this week we played with the color orange.  Kaelyn loved her new dot markers.  They make the coolest things for kids these days... wow, do I sound old or what?!?







Check out my little girl.  She tries to get these two out of the house whenever she can.  We have had many a battle when she tries to take them shopping.  So far... mommy wins out, but not without many a tear from my little boo.  She's a good mommy!!

As I sit here, drinking my pumpkin spice creamer (with a splash of coffee) and munching some pumpkin bread I’m trying to tie my jumble of pictures together into a post that makes some sort of sense… and pretty much getting nowhere.   It’s been a bit chaotic around here… not really sure why… but can’t seem to bring the focus in to get a blog post done.   So with the focus thrown out the window, here is what we have been up to lately... Appreciating: November!

AHHHH!  Prepping for a new baby and holidays make for one crazy combo in my world.  So here we are, February knocking on the door, and I am finally posting our November, December, and January.  Better late than never I suppose.  It's been a super busy three months, but we have celebrated Thanksgiving, a new niece, Christmas, and prepared for a new arrival by moving the girls into one room and getting his nursery ready to go. And now, November.. We have moved up in gymnastics... now both girls get to play while mama sits.  My kind of gymnastics class.   We traveled to Tampa for Thanksgiving this year.  No baking involved... Ruth Chris Steak House for the win. Happy Birthday Chad

Today, January 25 th , we would be celebrating my brother’s 33 rd birthday.  When I think of him passing at the age of twenty, one of the first thoughts that always enters my head is being sad for him that he never reached legal drinking age.  I couldn’t wait for this day when I was twenty, but honestly, he probably could have cared less.  Chad didn’t get into trouble.  He was quiet, kind, responsible, thoughtful, tall, handsome… any mamma’s dream child. Chad lived a peaceful and content life at home with my Mom, Cassie, and Jack.   He loved his video games and actually liked his job at Federal Express.   Nothing breaks my heart more than not being home with him and my family his last couple years.   As the years pass, my memories fade, and that is gut wrenching.   I have tried and tried to remember the last time we were together or our last conversation, and both have vanished.   I do know the last time we talked over the phone we had discussed something about my cat, an
