Appreciating: February
We are half way into the month of love… and our hearts sure
feel it. This family of mine is pretty
special and we have the best time when the weekends roll around and we all get
to be together. February is stuffed with
many family birthdays, of course- Valentines, and another special day around
here… our anniversary. How could one not
love this month? And… just in case you
need a couple more reasons why…
Bubba
Lana is in love with our dog, Ziggy. Typically when she goes missing… she can be
found cuddling with the bubba. Her
favorite word is… you guessed it… bubba.
She walks around the house going… bubba, bubba, bubba. While at the park the other day, we were
surrounded by pigeons. She was chasing
after them, full speed ahead, chanting… bubba, bubba. She was ready to jump the boardwalk in order
to catch her prize.
Dress Up
A favorite past time around these parts. A princess and a doctor… Brax and I will
retire early!
The Little Men in our
Lives
Man is Braxton in for a load of trouble when our two get a
bit older (hopefully a LOT older). They
already love themselves some little boys… two in particular who we see quite
frequently. Giving away hugs like it
ain’t no thing. Lana has been known to
pucker up and attack our little friend Caleb.
He’s a bit younger… but that doesn’t faze her. Makes him an easier target.
I swear she is not eye-gauging him here... just trying to wake him from his peaceful slumber... which didn't work. |
Gleason
There is a beautiful park, just a bike ride away, that we
frequent quite often. The girls love the
playground, the lake, and everything else in between. Ziggy even got a taste this weekend.
Someone has a 3rd birthday coming up… less than a
month away. Really?!? How did that happen? Those words are uttered from my mouth every
time a birthday rolls around.
Kaelyn has requested a Yo Gabba Gabba party.. . I have attacked
Pinterest and can’t wait to pull it all together. And just to solidify the theme of the party…
we were watching Yo Gabba the other day and none other than Edward Sharpe and
the Magnetic Zeros make a guest appearance.
With our anniversary being tomorrow, its totally a sign… they sang the
song we had our first dance to at our wedding, and needless to say, we heart
them! Feeling the love around here!
